Straight to the Vein is an artist from Ann Arbor, MI. They got their start in 2020 during the pandemic while having extra time to experiment with their sound and ideas after working on previous projects. Their first EP, What It Means to be Human, was released in December of 2021 and launched Straight to the Vein into the public. Since then, they’ve amassed an online following, many of whom feel a deep connection to their music. Straight to the Vein tries to use their platform to advocate for communities which they identify as being a part of, including the LGBTQIA+ community, people of color, and those that are neurodivergent. Their album PAIN explores themes of heartache, losing those close to you, and mental health.
